What this role entails

  • Conduct market research to identify potential target markets, customer segments, and emerging trends in the IT industry.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners to foster strong business connections.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead-generation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align business development efforts and ensure a cohesive approach to market expansion.
  • Negotiate and close deals with potential clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Evaluate the viability and potential profitability of new business opportunities, conducting thorough market and financial analysis.
  • Present regular reports and updates to the management team, providing insights into business development performance and achievements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Have B2B sales experience or proven working experience as a business development leader or a relevant role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development within the IT industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to confidently engage with international clients and partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IT products, services, and industry trends.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing deals.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
